Over this time our company has upheld its reputation as one of the most professional and innovative construction companies in Sydney. Originally established by Balcroy’s owner and Director, Donald Elder, we pride ourselves on our attention to detail and service.

Every member of our Balcroy team is qualified and experienced in their trade. We hold over 75 years’ of combined experience in the construction and building industry.

Don Elder

As founder of Balcroy Constructions, Don is both a qualified carpenter as well as a licensed builder. He has extensive experience from having worked in the building and construction industry for over 35 years in both Australia and the United Kingdom. Don has experience through all sectors of construction including residential, retail and commercial and has worked as the foreman for a large construction company in London. He launched Balcroy Constructions after returning to Australia and prides himself for his hands on approach for each individual project ensuring every job is managed professionally and completed to a high standard.

Eddie Elder

Father to Don, Eddie is a qualified carpenter and has worked in the building and construction industry both here in Australia and overseas in the United Kingdom for over 60 years. Most of that experience was spent working for an Australian based multinational company as a Foreman. Eddie has an extensive knowledge and experience throughout the construction industry and been involved in a variety of projects including multi-story and commercial projects. His extensive knowledge and experience is an asset to the company and clients.
